Paul's
Place Summer Camp at Redeemer
June 23 - June 27, 2008
11:00 - 3:00 p.m.
The
Church of the Redeemer provides a one-week summer camp for young people
ages 6 - 11 from Paul's Place, an outreach center in the Pigtown community
of southwest Baltimore. For a week, the children are transported to Redeemer
for an afternoon of fun, fellowship, arts, crafts, sports, singing and
worship. Members of Redeemer of all ages work together to plan and coordinate
the various activities. Our youth are an integral part of the planning
and organization of this program. Many serve as group leaders.
The
Staff plans and works with these young people within the context of Christ's
wish:
Suffer
the little children to come unto me.
The
Summer Camp has provided a wonderful learning opportunity for the children
of Pigtown, but Redeemer camp staff would argue that the learning opportunity
has been theirs.
What you

your knowledge: music, art, crafts, sports, cooking, the environment,
