Each winter, from November through March, the Church of the Redeemer participates with three other area churches in a program to feed the homeless on the streets of Baltimore City. The fourth Saturday of the month we prepare soup and sandwiches for 250 people. The food is then taken to six locations in the city and distributed to the homeless. In addition, Redeemer provides the very popular Christmas Boxed Suppers, which are distributed on Christmas Eve. Needs: Volunteers are needed to sign up for one of the Redeemer Saturdays to help prepare 250 sandwiches or soup for 250. Participants can also sign up to help distribute the food on one of the Saturday nights.
