Weddings

Who may be married here: The canons of the Episcopal Church state "that at least one of the parties has received Holy Baptism." Marriages are solemnized for couples in which one (or both) is a member of this parish, or is in the immediate family of a current member.

A member of the parish is all of the following:

+ A baptized Christian whose baptism has been recorded in the parish register
+ A person regular in attendance
+ A participant in the programs of this parish
+ A person who gives systematically through a recorded pledge or gift

Since Holy Matrimony is a sacramental rite of the church, we expect couples to worship together while preparing for marriage.
