Robert was certified by Baltimore's own Peabody School of Music in Piano and Theory in 1991, and received his B.A. in Biblical Literature with a minor in Biblical Languages and Russian from Northwest University in 1996. He served in a number of American parishes, and was Worship Director for the Love of Christ Church in Kislovodsk, South Russia.  There he used his fifteen-year collection of contemporary music to lead a local missionary church.  He completed his nine years as a Missionary as the Southern Coordinator of Ministry and Worship for the Russian Association of Christian Churches, serving over a dozen major Russian cities including Moscow.  There he created a worship leading seminar for missionary churches and new worship leader interns, and organized worship teams for teaching and prayer. 

He began his association with Redeemer upon his return to the United States as piano accompanist for "The Wizard of Oz" and "Grease" productions.  He has served as Minister of Music, including multimedia presentation preparation, since the inception of Faith@Five in 2006.
