Plan and coordinate an annual stewardship (time, talent, treasure) program.
Work to advise the Rector about families and parishioners in need of attention, communication and visitation.
Coordinate marketing and communication efforts, including but not limited to newsletters, promotional activities, community education and other related stewardship efforts.
Work with our capital campaign consultants to direct and facilitate a comprehensive major-gift fundraising effort, including planned giving, capital campaigns and special fundraising initiatives directed toward individuals, private family foundations and other sources of support.
Coordinate and supervise appropriate parish volunteers for stewardship and capital campaign work.
Direct acknowledgement and recognition activities for donors and volunteers.
Ensure integrity and maintenance of donor and prospective donor records.
Participate in long range planning with the Vestry, Stewardship Committee, Rector and various parish committees (finance/budget, etc.).
Maintain an on-going ledger of in-kind gift opportunities.
Recruit, organize and train volunteers to assist in achieving development goals.
Provide regular fundraising progress reports to the Vestry, Stewardship Committee and Rector.
Other duties as assigned by the Rector. This position will report to the Rector.
